As we have seen so far, music is an important part of worship because of the impact it has on both the heart and the mind. For this reason, it can also be divisive. Recently, there has been much discussion about the appropriateness of singing songs from ministries whose theology and practice are concerning, or possibly even heretical. Using the traditional Christmas carol "Silent Night" as our guide, we try to incorporate these ideas into our theology of music. Sermon begins at about 20:20.
